Guess what? Next week I'll be 40-Something! Here at 7,200 ft elevation in Colorado, it is 52 degrees this July morning. I have an extra strong cup of Fair Trade and I'm wrapped in the blanket my mom knitted. This reflective moment at 5:49 am, where the air is silent and fresh, allows me to rejoice about my age. With each passing year comes more confidence, wisdom, and a chance to run a marathon! I am a mom of four and I think I look pretty fabulous. No better way to show off my 40-something celebration than in this Thrift Store sheath dress I'm calling, Strawberri Kiwi. The bracelets are from a vendor at our flea market. One of the most fun and important elements to me beginning this blog, is to show younger friends of mine that just because you can spend, doesn't mean you should. Shopping thrift is unique, adventurous, and socially responsible.
