A Shopping Tip & the Miracle Anthropologie Sweater

Good Evening, All,
My friend said to me, "I tried to shop at the thrift store but I just can't find anything." I have an important tip to share that has resulted in about 50% of the amazing items I have re-homed. Ready?

If your thrift store sorts by size:

1) Start at your typical size. Thumb through quickly searching for textures and colors you like.

2) Move down one size lower and one size higher. Items will be misplaced and shift, or another tag size will run in such a way that it WILL fit you in many instances. Hold it up. Try it on EVEN if it is not a size you've tried before. You may surprise yourself.

3) Ladies in sizes around 10-16, go over to the KID'S SECTION. Many of your thrift store workers are either men or in a hurry. They will look at a tag "12" and place that 12 in the girl's child location. (The opposite occurs frequently if you're searching for young girl's clothing. Look in the women's size for that same tag).

MIRACLE ANTHROPOLOGIE AT GOODWILL:
Here is the SPARROW red cashmere sweater. It is heaven against the cheek (not that I was snuggling it in the store at any time).

READY!!!!

Look below. Yes, that is THE Sparrow sweater. I found it in the GIRL'S section at Goodwill. Children's wear is less expensive at GW. I now OWN the Sparrow sweater for $1.99 + tax. Red Cashmere is mine all mine.

I have paired it with a very cute (albeit itchy) green tank that has a big tulle rosette at the V-neck. It's perfect for our Colorado hot day which always turns into a 55 degree, windy evening.
